Bloom Balls

Just about everyone has their own version of these little nutrient packed balls, and as they should. These babies are so fun, versatile, and easy to make! After playing around with all sorts of ingredients, I’ve finally created my own recipe that keeps me blooming all day long!

1/2 cup cacao powder
1/4 cup hemp seeds
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp protein powder
1 tsp maca powder (optional)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 cup goji berries chopped
1/4 cup nut butter (almond or sunflower)
2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
3 tbsp raw honey
1/4 unsweetened, unsulphured shredded coconut

Combine all of the dry ingredients (except for the shredded coconut) into a bowl and mix. Add coconut oil and honey – combine thoroughly.

Roll into small balls, approximately 1 inch by 1 inch in size. Then roll the Bloom Balls in the shredded coconut, until each ball is evenly coated.

Refrigerate or freeze for 15 minutes and serve. Makes 8-10 Bloom Balls.

Enjoy as a healthy treat with a cup of tea or on-the-go as a power snack!
